My mother made me, and my three siblings, go to church every Sunday and I always known that God is real. But my personal walk with Jesus did not really begin until after law school when I had an encounter with the Holy Spirit that changed my life forever. I have never wanted to be a pastor; all-the-while possessing a strong desire to know and teach God’s Word. Over the span of the last thirty years I have served in numerous capacities in the church, including teen ministry, security, teacher, deacon, elder, licensed minister, board of directors. Although I initially resisted, I felt the draw to go to seminary in 2015 and I ultimately enrolled in Alliance Theological Seminary (Online). It has taken me four years, but I will graduate in the spring with a master’s degree in Biblical Studies.
